Many times, people - and especially young people - with ADHD are considered "space cases," lazy, rude, or difficult because ADHD brains are not built for how the world operates. As we learn to understand and accept how our neurodiverse brains work, we often uncover new ways to operate and succeed day to day.
Space Cases is based in Worcester, Massachusetts and provides in-person meetings within a 30 minute drive of downtown Worcester. Virtual options are available to queer and transgender ADHDers who live inside or outside of MA.

Text and emails are preferred over voicemails when possible. I will do my best to respond to voicemails weekly. Thank you.
At Space Cases we are not clinical providers and we are not covered by insurances, so we are not included by usual privacy policies you may be familiar with, such as HIPAA. However, Space Cases believes that keeping your data as private as possible is part of building trust and working together. CryptPad, Whereby, and Signal are some of the tools that helps us do that. We recognize this is not a perfect system, and that there are simple things we can do to keep data as private as possible.
Signal is a free messenger app that uses end to end encryption to keep your conversations, video calls, and voice calls private. If you would like to learn more about Signal, you can visit https://signal.org. Once downloaded to your phone, you can opt to use the desktop version or phone app. If you are not interested in using the Signal app, you may still use your usual texting app.
CryptPad is an end-to-end encrypted and open-source collaboration suite, where we keep any notes about our work together. It is designed for collaboration with features such as shared online drives, calendar, and sharing. Because all data is encrypted, only users with access can view files. You can learn more about CryptPad at https://cryptpad.org/about and sign up for a user account if you'd like. You do not need an account to fill out our registration forms or satisfaction surveys.
Whereby is a video conferencing platform that does not require any app downloads for use. Founded in Norway and based in the EU, Whereby maintains higher security norms than other platforms. You can learn more at https://www.whereby.com. You do not need to create an account with Whereby to join Space Cases meetings.
Proton Mail is an email service based in Switzerland that can use end-to-end encryption to help keep email messages and documents saved to the cloud private. In order for full end-to-end encryption, both users must use a Proton email. If you use choose to your usual email service, Space Cases can send encrypted emails that you log in to view and reply to. Otherwise, please keep in mind that services such as Gmail or Yahoo keep a record of all our messages back and forth and share accordingly. You can learn more about Proton mail at https://proton.me/mail. If you are not interested in using Proton Mail, you may still use your usual email service.
As a client of Space Cases, you always have the right to know how your information and data are stored, and who has access to it.
A Note on AI: Humanness is at the core of any positive and helpful coaching relationship or peer connection. Space Cases will never use generative artificial intelligence for content creation, data or data management, “accessibility,” images, research, product development, etc. Our logo and branding is designed by Joshua Bruckner of Bruckner Marketing Solutions.
